Position Summary:
Sparksoft is seeking an AV/VTC Manager with proven experience to join its Healthcare Practice to work on an exciting mission transforming the enterprise of one of the nation's most critical Agencies. The candidate should demonstrate expertise and experience on audio, video, net, and streaming services (i.e., via conferencing tools) that allows staff to effectively collaborate in person and in a virtual setting. The candidate should provide scheduling support, administration, technical assistance, and training for all Managed Conferencing Tools; enables video conferencing communications with internal and external stakeholder.
Responsibilities:
• Working at the client site, in Washington, DC
• Leading a team of AV/VTS specialists with the mission to install, maintain and support users using AV/VTS tools and services.
• Support Agency executives and meeting organizers
• Schedule Calls, operate technology (in office and remotely - hands on support)
• License assignment, training for Agency Staff (how to host, etc.)
• Provide postproduction editing of recorded meetings
• Act as liaison for close captioning support (Section 508)
• Provide Conferencing Logistics support and meeting registrations, scheduling of conference rooms
• Work with Telecomm vendors, facilitate support for Agency staff
• Support conference room, infrastructure and other AV hardware and software
• Provide Video and Audio-conferencing bridging and endpoints
• Support Ad-Hoc deployment of AV systems including (remote clickers, wireless video systems, wireless speakers, etc.)
Requirements
Required Skills:
• Certification in Tele/Video Conferencing of a Major Brand
• Preferred Polycom Expert Program Certification
• Experience working projects in technical IT large scale operations environments, such as, event monitoring and management, security services, IP Telephony, Video Teleconferencing, as well as implementations of new equipment and services.
• Worked in and have a solid understanding of highly technical environments and equipment, be able to communicate and work with IT professionals doing systems engineering and administration in these environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Engineering, IT etc.) with 5 years of experience as a AV/VTC Manager supporting enterprise solutions.
