Position Summary:

As a member of the Event Marketing team, you will oversee the Going Digital in Infrastructure Awards and be responsible for the continued success of this program.

The Going Digital in Infrastructure Awards is Bentley's biggest corporate marketing and user recognition program. It is a well-regarded juried, global program that recognizes advancements in infrastructure. Established in 2004, this competition is open to all Bentley users and has to date recognized more than 4,700 of the world's most outstanding infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:

  • Overall program management and hands-on execution of Bentley's Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure during all its phases, from nomination to jury selection to awards celebrations and ongoing recognition of the participants.
  • You will work with key internal stakeholders on the strategy for the awards program, especially the industry-specific award categories.
  • Prepare and configure the nomination form in the online submission platform, AwardForce.
  • You will have to prepare and execute the marketing and communications plan to promote the program to Bentley's global user community. The objective is to create maximum awareness and interest for the awards program and secure high-quality project nominations integral to our marketing, public relations, and brand awareness programs.
  • You will be responsible for creating promotional materials, including web content, video, social, and recruitment toolkits.
  • Working with regional marketing, account management, user success, technical support, and other user-facing teams, you will be responsible for driving the recruitment and managing the submissions pipeline for the program. You will also create reports to track in-progress and completed submissions and keep stakeholders informed.
  • You will coordinate an internal review of the submitted project nominations with category ambassadors to ensure completeness and high quality. You will be responsible for responding to user inquiries about their submissions.
  • You will project-manage the translation of foreign language submissions into English.
  • Liaise with the jurors and support them during the jury review process.
  • Assist the executive leadership team to select projects worthy of special recognition.
  • Manage all the responsibilities related to the finalists and the award winners at the gala celebration. This includes working with various marketing teams and external jurors for onsite deliberations, working with the finalists for their presentations, working with the events and marketing teams for planning and executing the awards gala.
  • Responsible for post-event activities including the creation of dashboards to report and analyze trends around the nominated projects and the data submitted, secure user permissions for, proof, and promote the annual Infrastructure Yearbook, and overseeing trophy and certificate shipments.

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in executing an awards and conference program or events execution on a global level.
  • Bachelor's degree - Marketing or Business focus preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative team player in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent at problem-solving, identifying causes, and suggesting innovative solutions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience of working with award platforms such as AwardForce, Evalato, etc.
  • Knowledge of script writing, video editing, hybrid-event platforms.
  • Resourceful self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Highly motivated and with a high level of initiative; ability to work independently, in support of creative goals and business objectives.
  • Familiarity with working on multi-language programs and localization process.
  • Energetic, friendly, and self-motivated attitude.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with senior executives, external agency partners & vendors.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role requires travelling during the Bentley's Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure (1 week per year)
