Senior AWS Cloud Architect

Currently, we are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Germany. 

As a Senior AWS Cloud Architect, you have a solid background in building, migrating and/or running productive workloads. You know how to design applications and/or platforms for scale and how to do a handover to operations. You don't have to be the technical expert for everything, but as a generalist, you have a broad knowledge about Public Cloud and IT, a good sense for quality and good communication skills. Customers and colleagues value your opinion and follow your advice.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Acting as a technical consultant for customers and colleagues
• Designing and implementing (business critical) applications, platforms and workflows
• Working with new technologies and services as well as with established industry standards
• Reviewing on-premise and cloud infrastructure to improve security, reduce costs or to prepare for a migration/modernization
• Automating cloud environments with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code

Your key skills:

• Hands-on experience with AWS from successfully implemented projects
• Experience with leading a technical team - providing guidance to your colleagues in the project
• DevSecOps or SRE "toolkit" and mindset
• CI/CD and Terraform knowledge
• Coding/scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, C#, Java, ...)
• Broad infrastructure and security knowledge
• Knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, container related services)
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English
