Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and AWS Cloud to support the deployment of their Cloud Native applications on AWS. As part of a specialized team, you will play a crucial role in implementing operational processes within a continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) framework. Your agility and proactiveness will be essential as you help develop cloud-native infrastructures utilizing containers and microservices. Your responsibilities will include deploying these solutions on AWS and Kubernetes platforms. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic cloud environment and has a strong background in modern application deployment techniques.

Responsibilities: 

• Implementing and maintaining security and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Qualys, etc.)
• Support for the Devops & Cloud Payment Service roadmap
• Administration of platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, MSK, OpenSearch, Rancher, etc.)
• Definition of multi-cloud provisioning (Terraform) in conjunction with the Architecture teams
• Provisioning of managed services required for deployment
• Deployment on the Cloud and administration of environments
•  Integration of Cloud tests on the CD in conjunction with the Test/QA teams
• Proposal force for new services and DevOps tools on-Prem or on the cloud (monitoring, observability, Traffic management, security, etc.)

Requirements: 

• Decent knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes 
• Expertise in Unix environments 
• Expertise of AWS cloud, Openshift and Azure as a plus
• Expertise in infrastructure security (FW, Api gateway, WAF, PCI…) 
• Ability to work with CI/CD: Jenkins / Sonar / Nexus / Mastery of pipelines and continuous integration patterns 
• Experience with network and infrastructure mastery: Iptables, security, diagnostics
• Proficiency in Kafka, Apache, Tomcat, Java, JEE, NodeJS, SpringBoot, etc.
• Proficiency in logging stacks: ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana
• Proficiency in monitoring stacks: Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana
• Proficiency in DBMS and their exploitation: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Maria DB
• Experience with service-oriented architectures, knowledge of APIs, and build tools: Maven / Gradle  
• Knowledge of DevOps tools: Ansible, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, Vault, patterns IaaS
• Experience with writing technical specifications 
• Ability to provide support and assistance to teams 
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Ukrainian language Advanced or higher
