Job description

We are looking for a Senior AWS Developer to bring AWS expertise, lead the team on AWS technology matters, and contribute to the successful delivery of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.

• Lead the team’s technological direction in AWS.

• Implement and optimize infrastructure using Terraform.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications in Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).

• Develop and deploy scalable cloud services with a focus on security and reliability.

• Implement event-processing systems using AWS services such as Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SQS, or Amazon Kinesis.

• Knowledge of databases like Amazon DynamoDB or Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Collaborate in an agile cross-functional team, including DevOps practices.

• Design and develop APIs communicating via gRPC.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions on AWS.

• Advanced knowledge of the following technologies:

• Programming in C#., Python

• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

• Expertise in AWS services, including:

• Amazon EKS and Amazon ECS.

• Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS.

• Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SQS, or Amazon Kinesis.

• Experience in developing and gradually releasing cloud services in production environments.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Hands-on experience with event processing and messaging systems 

• Proven ability to lead a team and make technical decisions for project success.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

• Experience with AWS security and monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools 

• Knowledge of C++

Basic wage component (brutto): from 3700 EUR

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 15% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
