Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

A technology-driven company operating in the cloud services industry is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you'll design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration, establish CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized applications, implement Infrastructure as Code, and optimize Azure resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, and scripting languages.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and other tools.
• Manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles to define and manage infrastructure resources.
• Set up monitoring and logging solutions with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and other tools for resource health and performance.
• Implement security measures and best practices for a secure and compliant Azure infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement effective cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for resilient Azure systems.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize Azure resources, and implement efficiency best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for Azure infrastructure and deployment processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer specializing in Azure.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure services and architecture, including Azure VMs, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and more.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash and automation tools.
• Proven experience working with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and relevant tools like ARM templates and Terraform.
• Skilled in version control systems like Git and experienced in agile development methodologies.
