Senior Azure Engineer

About the Position:

Our client, a leading high-performance materials manufacturing company, is seeking a talented Senior Azure Engineer to join their Integration team. As a Senior Azure Engineer, you will report to the Enterprise Integration Lead within the Enterprise Data & Analytics department. In this role, you will play a significant role in the design and implementation of the technological solution, working with the latest technology stack such as Azure PaaS, Azure IoT Suite, C# and .NET Core. You will be responsible for developing and supporting Integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform and working closely with integration architects and IoT engineers to assist the DT integration team with solution development.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of experience leading a technical design, build, and deploy Azure applications, including the development of Azure Application Integrations. The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related study. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. The candidate must possess skills and abilities in the following:

• Designing and developing Azure applications

• Building and modifying applications using Azure services and other Microsoft platform technologies such as .NET, C#, Web API, JavaScript, etc.

• Proficient experience with Azure PaaS (apps, services, APIs, logic apps, etc.)

• Strong understanding of MS SQL databases and Azure SQL

• Strong understanding of Cloud Native Application Development and Cloud Platform Capabilities

• Knowledgeable on Azure and its services/resources: Azure Storage, Azure SQL, GraphQL, Data Lake, etc.

• Experience with Visual Studio or Azure DevOps

• Experience working with technologies such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure Device SDK, Azure Device provisioning services, Azure Device twins, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB – is a plus.

Requirements:

Our client requires the following requirements for the Senior Azure Engineer position:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related study is required.

• The candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience leading a technical design, build and deploy Azure applications.

• Experience in high-performance materials manufacturing would be preferred but not required.
