Job Location: Cary, NC
Alternate Job Location: Greenville, SC or Clarks Summit, PA.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid in office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

In this role, you will work closely with a talented team of dynamic and passionate Architects and Engineers to develop and implement reliable cloud solutions that solve pain points, meet the business's requirements and scale cloud solutions to match the business's changing needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows.
• Organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
• Utilize strong analytical skills, able to effectively solve problems in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain automated data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency from various sources, such as on-premises systems, cloud-based systems, and third-party services.
• Implement error handling and monitoring processes to ensure data integration solutions operate smoothly and provide reliable data.
• Optimize data integration processes for performance and cost, by tuning queries, caching data, and managing resources.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as, architects, developers, and business analysts, to ensure data solutions meet their requirements.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Data Integration
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying data ingestion solutions using Azure Cloud components such as Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen 2, Azure ADF, and Azure Cosmos Database
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and concepts using YAML. (e.g., Azure Pipelines)
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities
• 5+ years of database scripting such as SQL, ANSI SQL, and PL/SQL for data integration
• Strong understanding of Azure services such as Spark Notebooks, Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool Warehouse, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions and Azure Data Lake storage
• Experience dealing with various data formats such as, JSON, Apache Parquet, streaming and other relational data sources.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the aptitude to adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent business facing and internal communication skills.

Preferred:

• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate Certificate
• 2 + years of experience and deep working knowledge with Cosmos DB
• Experience working in an Agile (KANBAN, Scrum) environment as part of a Scrum Team
• Programming experience in Python
