Senior Backend Developer (Token Factory)

This role sits at the core of a next-generation AI infrastructure platform focused on enabling scalable, production-grade AI deployments for global customers. You will contribute to building and evolving highly distributed backend systems that power AI inference at scale, with a strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and extensibility. Working in a fast-growing, highly technical environment, you will collaborate with engineers across infrastructure, product, and AI domains. The position combines backend engineering, cloud-native architecture, and system optimization in a rapidly evolving product landscape. • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering AI infrastructure and inference systems
• Develop and optimize distributed systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and low-latency execution
• Contribute to the evolution of platform architecture, ensuring scalability for growing workloads and enterprise use cases
• Collaborate with infrastructure, observability, billing, and AI research teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Improve system stability, uptime, and operational excellence across production environments
• Participate in the development of APIs and web services supporting platform functionality and external integrations
• Apply CI/CD practices, automated testing, and rigorous engineering standards to ensure code quality
• Continuously enhance system capabilities, including performance tuning and infrastructure optimizations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems development
• Strong proficiency in backend programming languages, ideally Python and/or Go
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing practices
• Experience designing and developing scalable web services and backend architectures
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and high-load system design principles
• Ability to work with a high level of rigor, ownership, and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in fast-evolving technical environments
