As a Senior Backend Developer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Engrain's growth and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing hosting environments and systems processes as well as programming the back end of our custom websites. As a core member of Engrain's Creative Services team - our in-house boutique branding and website agency, you'll have the opportunity to bring dynamic multifamily brands to life and drive their online success. What you'll do...

• Manage the integration of any external web services, APIs and data
• Build and release new website platforms and content management systems
• Perform data migration, transformation and scripting
• User acceptance testing and reporting
• Tracking issues/resolutions to analyze and fix recurring issues, and recommending service options if necessary
• Maintain documentation of various systems
• Create and maintain policies and procedures related to software development, quality assurance and data storage
• Maintain legacy websites
• Other development or DevOps duties as assigned

Requirements
What you offer us...

• 8+ years of development experience
• Strong knowledge of WordPress environment
• Strong experience with PHP and MySQL environments
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Laravel, etc.
• Comfortable managing MySQL databases
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience integrating data from external sources: web services, FTP, etc.
• An Understanding of REST and SOAP architectures a plus
• Experience working with GIT version control systems
• Good team and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, testing, and troubleshooting
• Ability to assess scope of work and effort required
• Ability to work constructively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines and multiple priorities
• Team player with demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems without being directed
• Willingness to share best practices, continually improve processes and provide clear and consistent reporting to leadership

• Salary Disclosure for Colorado: minimum base salary of $90,000 - $110,000. Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate's experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
