Challenge
The Senior Backend Engineer will work with the development team, on a product that serves hundreds of external and internal users, with different parts of the backend web application and data.
What you'll do
• Collaborate within a team supporting a product with hundreds of external and internal users, addressing various components of the backend web application and data architecture
• Produce well-constructed, intelligently tested codebase
• Contribute to product deployment, thinking of better ways to improve DevOps within the team
• Work on a cloud-native project with modern cloud and ops practices and tools
• Contribute to the maintenance, refactoring, and creation of new features and applications
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
• Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in Python (Dash, Dask, Flask) or PHP (Laravel) development: designing, developing, and deploying either data structures or web applications.Â
• Experience with SQL Server, and NoSQL (MongoDB preferred).
• Experience working with CI/CD environments (GitLab preferred) and working with cloud providers (AWS)
• Experience working under agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
Nice-to-have
• Familiarity with Data Modeling, Snowflake, and Airflow.
• Experience maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Non-technical skills
• When it comes to soft skills, we are looking for candidates with good communication skills, with a sense of autonomy.
• Being eager to learn and constant improvement is a must for a successful candidate.
