What you will do

• Design and build distributed, scalable and highly performant backend systems to support a new application targeted at web2 developers
• Partner with product teams for new feature development and integration including [Avalanche Explorer](https://subnets.avax.network/defi-kingdoms), Core Wallets ([Core Ext](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/core/agoakfejjabomempkjlepdflaleeobhb), [Web Wallet](https://wallet.avax.network/access)) and other blockchain applications
• Closely collaborate with the infrastructure team to build and deploy cloud applications
• Work with frontend developers to build an entirely new web application from the ground up
•  Lead the team and set best practices for building and maintaining large scale distributed systems

What you will bring

•  BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
• 5+ years of general backend development experience
• 3+ years of experience building large scale enterprise systems
• Experience with Golang strongly preferred
• Experience with Typescript/Node.js a plus
• AWS Cloud Stack (DynamoDB, KMS, SQS, Lambda, ... ) preferred
• Experience with other cloud stacks a bonus
• Crypto experience preferred
