We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and work on a cutting-edge project for a dynamic SaaS company committed to delivering innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with expertise in Python and cloud technologies. 

Job Description

• Maintain and enhance legacy systems using Python to ensure continued functionality and performance. 

• Plan and execute system migrations and upgrades while ensuring backward compatibility and smooth integration with new systems. 

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Python. 

• Design, implement, and manage data storage solutions using AWS technologies. 

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility. 

• Optimize database performance and query efficiency to handle large-scale data processing. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring seamless integration with the front-end and other services. 

• Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments. 

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable releases. 

Qualifications

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. 

• Strong knowledge of Python and its frameworks, with hands-on experience in backend development. 

• Expertise with AWS cloud technologies. 

• Proficiency in database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL, with experience designing database structures for BI/reporting systems and querying data warehouses such as Redshift. 

• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. 

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline management tools. 

• Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud deployment strategies in AWS. 

• Experience developing and optimizing scalable web applications. 

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, focusing on high performance and scalability. 

• Knowledge of React is a plus. 

What about languages? 

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

• In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
