Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Backend and Database Developer with a solid foundation in .Net technologies and Azure services. The successful candidate will work on building robust backend systems using Visual Studio, .Net 8, and various Azure services. This role requires a strong understanding of database management and data architecture, particularly with SQL Server and Entity Framework. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and deploy backend solutions using .Net 8 and Azure services, including Azure Web Apps and Function Apps. 

• Utilize Visual Studio for application development and debugging. 

• Implement data access strategies using Entity Framework and SQL Server. 

• Modernize legacy on-premise monolithic database leveraging Manage and optimize Azure SQL Server databases, ensuring performance and scalability. 

• Develop systems utilizing patterns such as Change Data Capture (CDC) and/or Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) patterns. 

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting of Azure resources, .Net applications, and SQL Server/TSQL issues. 

• Provide basic troubleshooting support for connection issues, application problems, and errors. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. 

• Monitor application performance and reliability using tools such as Application Insights. 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Visual Studio and .Net 8 development. 

• In-depth experience with Azure Web Apps and Function Apps. 

• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework for ORM. 

• Proficiency in SQL Server, including TSQL for database management. 

• Experience with Azure SQL Server for cloud-based database solutions. 

• Familiarity with building systems using Change Data Capture (CDC) and/or CQRS. 

• Advanced troubleshooting skills in Azure resources, .Net, and SQL Server/TSQL. 

• Basic troubleshooting skills for connection issues and application errors. 

• Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) and/or CQRS. 

• Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). 

• Proven experience in backend development with a focus on .Net and Azure technologies. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
