What is this position about?

You will be working with a diverse team composed of talented Engineers immersed in the area of private investment banking. 

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Backend Engineer with strong experience in C#, SQL, and AWS. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and fosters creativity and continuous improvement. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions to support our client’s financial operations. 

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office! 

Job Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C#, SQL, Python, and other relevant technologies. 

• Implement and manage AWS serverless architecture to ensure scalability and performance. 

• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Terraform to automate and streamline development processes. 

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript, React, and Angular. 

• Adhere to and advocate for software development best practices, principles, and architectural standards. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology projects on time and within budget. 

• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. 

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide regular updates. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of software applications. 

Qualifications

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. 

• Expertise in C#. 

• Proficiency in SQL. 

• Knowledge of Python is a plus. 

• Experience with AWS serverless architecture. 

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, and Terraform. 

• Experience with front-end development using JavaScript, React, Angular, etc. 

• Solid understanding of software development principles, architecture, and best practices. 

• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of software engineers (preferred). 

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment. 

• Experience in the financial services industry or a related field is a plus. 

What about languages? 

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
