Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engagement Team. Our Engineers are responsible for crafting and optimizing customer-facing applications. The Engagement Team builds and maintains the technology needed to allow customers to access telehealth appointments, manage their accounts, manage their medication, and keep customers engaged. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of entire sections of the backend.
• Validate technologies and approaches to achieve development objectives.
• Collaborate across teams and departments to ensure business objectives are achieved.
• Mentor and guide other developers.
• Mentor and guide other developers.
• Craft the tech stack, data model, and developer experience.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

 You will likely have:

• 6+ years of experience building successful production software systems
• Familiarity with backend technologies and concepts such as RESTful or GraphQL APIs, Application Security (Authentication/Authorization), Data Security/Compliance, and DevOps best practices.
• Thrive in an environment of autonomy and ownership and are aware of how the decisions you make and the patterns you create impact the rest of the product architecture.
• Experience with Postgres or a similar database technology
• Experience with cloud-based web applications and complex data models
• Experience implementing cloud solutions (e.g. AWS, GCP)
• Experience with testing, particularly unit testing
• Current Tech Stack and Nice to Have Skills: .NET Core, Node.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL (Hasura), Docker, GCP

 You may have:

• Experience working in fast-paced startups and with new features
• Experience working in Healthcare / Telehealth
• Experience with HIPPA or private information
• Experience working with UI / Mobile Developers from a data perspective
