We’re looking for a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Global Total Rewards team in a US Remote Location. You will be assisting the Director of Global Benefits with the implementation of Lightspeed’s benefit strategy and on-going administration of the benefit plans.  

What you’ll be doing

• Ensures compliance with laws and regulations applicable to employee benefit programs including but not limited to COBRA, ERISA. HIPAA, ACA, FMLA
• Creates, coordinates and executes communication campaigns and other required notices (e.g. SPDs, SMMs,)
• Responsible for on-going financial analysis of all benefit plans including working with Finance and Accounting to insure accurate accruals and payments.
• Assists with the day-to-day administration of the employee benefit programs (e.g. health and welfare plans, voluntary benefits, 401(k) retirement plan)
• Assists with audit of all benefit plans
• Processes and administers all leave of absence requests
• Responds to benefit inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollment, status changes and other general inquiries 
• Assist and contribute to all aspects of Open Enrollment; preparation, system testing, vendor management, communications, education, presentations
• Processes and reconciles benefit invoices 

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor's Degree 
• 3+ years of relevant benefit experience
• Knowledgeable of relevant benefit laws and regulations
• Ability to interpret complex data and draw conclusions 
• Excellent time management and organizational skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Workday experience (preferred)

To keep in mind

• 5% of travel via plane, car, and train may be required
