Senior Benefits Manager

• Drive the strategic evolution and execution of our global benefits programs in line with Discord’s strategy, culture, and values.
• Oversee the creation of policies and procedures to ensure global compliance and the achievement of equitable and competitive benefits.
• Approve benefits processing requests and ensure the smooth processing of enrollment data by vendors
• Establish and measure key benefits program metrics.
• Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends in order to proactively adjust company plans and programs to ensure market competitiveness.
• Partner with the Director of Total Rewards, the Chief People Officer, and stakeholders such as People Operations.
• Design and recommend global benefits programs by assessing Discord’s needs, reviewing competitor and general industry practices, and analyzing cost impact/effectiveness.

• 5+ years of experience in benefits planning and administration in a Technology environment.
• Experience with effectively scaling a global benefits function to support the company’s business goals and growth, with a strong awareness of best practices.
• Experience administering benefits plans, especially in troubleshooting enrollment data processes and answering advanced employee questions.
• Experience with HRIS systems, especially Workday.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders of benefits programs.
• Experience managing benefits program strategy, operations, and communications for items such as healthcare, retirement (401k), wellness, and perks.
• Demonstrated experience in performing complex reporting and analysis of benefits programs and proposals. Excel/Google Sheets expertise is required.  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make recommendations and decisions.
• Experience benchmarking benefits programs vs. the Tech market and using the information in program design and updates.
• Ability to manage effectively with ambiguity, manage multiple projects through completion on time and on budget and to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
