The Team

The Enterprise Integrations team is responsible for developing integration solutions across systems and applications to streamline business processes. This team ensures seamless and secure exchange of data between various applications and platforms enhancing overall data flow through the organization. The Sr. Boomi Integration Developer will own the primary responsibility for managing and owning integration solutions using the Boomi AtomSphere at Kraken on both administration and architecture of the Boomi integration platform leveraging its capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert for the Boomi platform responsible for hands-on development deployment maintenance and administration of integration processes for cloud and/or on-premises applications. This role will collaborate extensively with business application and security teams to develop integration solutions for Kraken utilizing Boomi’s diverse features and functionalities. You will also be responsible for AWS infrastructure tasks required for provisioning and managing resources for the Boomi Atom runtime. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Integrations.

The Opportunity

• Design develop deploy and maintain new integration processes between cloud-based and on-premises applications using the Boomi AtomSphere platform including administration and customization to meet business needs and ensure seamless data flow systems-wide

• Manage monitor and support tasks for existing integrations and the Boomi AtomSphere platform to ensure sustained performance reliability and optimization of workflows mappings and transformations for data exchange & synchronization

• Define and implement Boomi integration platform architecture in collaboration with enterprise architecture & security teams as well as collaboration with cross functional teams to architect scalable and efficient solutions.

• Troubleshoot and debug integration issues identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

• Monitor integration performance metrics and optimize workflows to enhance reliability scalability and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with best practices security standards and data privacy regulations throughout integration design and implementation.

• Provide technical guidance mentorship and contribute to continuous learning and improvement initiatives within the team.

Skills You Should HODL

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field and 8+ years of experience in Cloud SaaS-based integration tools focusing on end-to-end development of integration solutions with a minimum of 4 years specifically on Boomi integrations platform.

• Strong expertise in building managing and administering integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere platform with a deep understanding of security and scalability configurations

• Proficient in integration patterns RESTful APIs SOAP services and messaging protocols.

• Experience in configuring and managing encryption & secure file transfers using SFTP for data exchange between systems.

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to automate the provisioning deployment and management of AWS resources using services including EC2 S3 Lambda and IAM

• Proficiency in DevOps practices including data transformation tools and techniques (e.g. JSON XML XSLT SQL) ETL processes and tools and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)

• Solid programming skills in Python Java or Rust in a microservices architecture and serverless computing environment using agile methodologies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders with demonstrated ability to deliver high quality solutions within defined timelines and budget constraints
