Job Description: Senior Brand Designer

Overview:

Our award-winning in-house creative group, Brand Creative Studio, is seeking a senior graphic designer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop game-changing creative campaigns, help shape the visual identity of our company, and work with a group of equally passionate, talented creatives.

You have:

• Exceptional digital-first design chops and an obsession with stewarding a resonant brand
• 8+ years of professional experience, ideally with specific experience in the B2B software space

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, or equivalent
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; strong proficiency in Figma a plus
• A demonstrable foundation of design principles and an eye for details through alignment, hierarchy, typography, grid, and user experience
• Experience working with other creative professionals - including video and photographers - to deliver compelling, on-brand creative
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including a strong ability to receive, respond to, and engage with feedback from stakeholders
• Passion for the social good community

You will:

• Design for a wide range of complex projects including web, email, digital campaigns, brand campaigns, and events, leveraging your ideation, design, layout, illustration and strategic skillsets

• Craft compelling idea statements about your design ideas or vision; present ideas and designs to stakeholders with polish and poise; explain creative decisions and rationale
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our visual brand, including supporting the development of our brand standards and style guide
• Manage your end-to-end design development process as necessary, including interviewing stakeholders as necessary to discover requirements and align on feedback and approvals, sometimes under tight deadlines
• Use project management software (Asana) to stay on top of your priorities and connect to your teammates on our remote-first team
• Conduct market/competitive creative research to inform creative decisions; explore design trends and technology; share trends with team members to inspire conversation and develop new skills
• Participate in Brand Creative Studio brainstorm sessions; lead brainstorming for assigned new creative projects
• Mentor and train other designers
• QA outsourced and peer design work

The starting base pay is $77,700.00 to $104,500.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
