Job Description

Bungie is looking for a Senior Brand Designer in Publishing Creative Studios (CS). As a Brand Designer you will join a multi-disciplinary group of designers, strategists, and producers, establishing the many touchpoints our players interact with Bungie and its games across our marketing channels. Your role will be essential in maintaining and evolving the brand guidelines for Bungie and establishing the systematic design approach to our creative needs. You will work closely with a talented team of designers, artists, and producers to bring the next generation of brand creative to our diverse and global audience. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the active role design takes in successful brand development, understands its strengths/weaknesses and how it grows sustainably into the future.

RESPONSIBILTIES  

  • Design and maintain the production of brand design systems and core visual design language for Bungie and franchise marketing
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Studios disciplines, brand management, and marketing managers to design and evolve the visual language, typography and graphic systems used throughout our player-facing content
  • Create and systemize exceptional designs with a focus on the major marketing channels and Bungie's corporate presence
  • Work closely with producers, brand managers, and visual designers to ensure accuracy and quality of design delivery across projects and campaigns
  • Conduct design reviews and give feedback to internal and external partners to maintain design consistency
  • Present clear and concise design solutions to a variety of business partners across Publishing and Development
  • When required, create and deliver visual design assets on a variety of marketing campaigns

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, brand development, and design discipline
  • Deep knowledge of traditional and modern graphic design techniques and styles; capable of implementing their visual paradigms effectively
  • Substantial knowledge in Adobe CC, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; experience with Figma, Miro and other collaboration tools
  • Passion for design fundamentals such as typography, composition, and how graphic design can be most effective in communicating ideas, big and small
  • Ability to quickly iterate through design details and communicate ideas concisely with designers, leads, and directors
  • Professional attitude and a strong desire to engage with constructive critique
  • Comfortable collaborating with a broad range of disciplines and the motivation to bring stakeholders into the process to help craft the best possible final product
  • Demonstrated experience successfully working with a cross-disciplinary design team; experience in a creative or ad agency environment preferred

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS    

  • Experience with and love of games
  • Experience with motion graphics and/or design for video assets
  • Familiarity with Bungie's current and past releases
  • Familiarity with live service game creation and publishing processes
Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly). 
This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Bellevue Pay Range
$106,000$129,000 USD
 
Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:
  • 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked 

Contract and International FTE employees receive competitive benefits through their relevant contracting agency.
