Working under general supervision the Senior Brand Manager will lead and advise members of the organization and brand team across various initiatives and projects related to all King's Hawaiian products. Responsibilities will range from overall business management to creative development and strategic implementation of marketing goals. Ultimate job responsibility will be to positively and dynamically drive brand and business growth. Employees in this position may interact with their leader when needed to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require their leader's advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with the overall team to build comprehensive strategic brand marketing plans
  • Strengthen overall brand image and increase brand awareness, penetration and purchase frequency.
  • Drive consumer takeaway at retail
  • Collaborate with the internal team and creative agencies to develop consumer facing innovative executions (including TV, print, radio, digital & social media, and entertainment partnerships)
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and cross-functional partners
  • Develop short-and long-term budgets for the portfolio of products.
  • Partner with sales to ensure key marketing programs are implemented at retail, with some specialty programs being crafted for select accounts.
  • Pursue new breakthrough ideas for driving the business.
  • Mentor, develop, train and support a team of brand management professionals.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in brand marketing required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)
  • Proficient ability in CPG marketing with a solid understanding of food business.
  • Proficient in forming relationships and collaborating with all levels of individuals internal and external to the organization.
  • Working experience in leveraging data and insights to drive strategic thinking.
  • Working analytical, decision-making, influence, and communication skills. as well as effective and confirmed project management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive creative development.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and willing to handle a constantly evolving work environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Annual Salary Range: $122,200-$183,300
