YOUR IMPACT AT STARFACE

Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing and Partnerships, the Starface Senior Brand Marketing Manager is the protector of Starface’s brand vision. The sole mission of the Senior Brand Marketing Manager is to ensure that all partnerships and brand marketing efforts work to elevate and progress the Starface brand forward. As such, you will have an exacting eye toward what success looks like for the Starface brand, what initiatives are on brand, and how Starface can drive as much awareness as possible.

The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will be the cross functional leader on all new product launches and partnership launches, working closely with their colleagues in Creative, Social Media, Growth, Retail, Finance, and Operations. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager directly manages the Senior Brand Marketing Associate and oversees any interns. 

 WE WILL COUNT ON YOU TO DO:
  • Execute the Starface brand vision and strategy to deliver on short and long-term business goals 

  • Collaborate with the Director of Brand Marketing & Partnerships on integrated marketing plans across channels for new product launches, promotions and partnerships 

  • Own all project management and cross functional leadership required for each new launch or campaign including; 

    • Developing each go-to-marketing launch plan 

    • Working with the creative team to ensure on-time delivery of assets 

    • Hosting status calls with each partner to provide updates on status of each new launch 

    • Ensure our partners meet their contracted marketing requirements

    • Delivering Recaps internal and external recaps outlining results and key learnings from each launch 

    • Responsible for drafting and updating all project launch budgets and ensuring all invoices are reconciled and coded correctly with our finance team. 

  • Own brand partnerships from start to finish, driving the execution of campaigns both on and off Starface platforms 

    • Conduct new outreach for aspirational brand partners and work with the Brand/Creative team to develop innovative pitch decks that showcase the value of a partnership with Starface. 

    • Manage all new and existing brand partner relationships as the main point of contact

    • Work cross functionally to ensure we put together favorable deal memos, contracts and budgets for each partnership we do.  

    • Work closely with our product development team on production timelines with confirmed partners to ensure our partners meet all key milestones. 

  • Drive market research to better understand the competitive landscape and opportunities for growth as well as partner with our CX team to gain customer insights that can inform all marketing strategies. 

  • Assist in the production of marketing assets including but not limited to writing creative briefs, contract negotiations with creative partners, and production assistance on photoshoots. 

  • Work closely with Social Media and Creative teams to drive brand initiatives on social channels including influencer seeding and community management across platforms. 

  • Assist in concepting and executing large brand activations, interactive experiences and other “Out of Home” and retail experiences. 

  • Act as main POC for all external vendor management for marketing materials (collateral, gifting, boxes, tissue paper, OOH media, etc.)

  • Oversee strategy and relationships with non-profit organizations.

  • Oversee strategy and programming for College ambassador program 

  • Owner of developing/launching all brand merch (internal and external): 

    • Includes vendor outreach 

    • Liaising with creative on design and materials 

    • Production of all assets for on time delivery 

  • Manage our marketing strategy with retail partners and assess participation in retail marketing programs with our partners. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 4+ years experience in brand marketing 

  • Track record of leading brand campaigns, initiatives, and partnerships 

  • You stay up-to-date with social trends and commentary

  • Deep understanding of editorial voice, content types, driving conversion, and omnichannel marketing

  • A bridge-builder across teams: working with PR, social, & product to present new ideas while building impactful campaigns and growing brand awareness

  • A creative thinker; not afraid to push boundaries and bring bold/never-been-done ideas to the table 

  • Passion for brand strategy and storytelling

  • Organized with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • You are a creative problem solver with a “no task is too small” attitude

Salary and Benefits 

  • The compensation for this role is a $105-140,000 base depending on level of experience, and includes bonus eligibility and company stock options.
