The Cisco Meraki Creative Studio team is seeking a passionate and insightful Brand Visual Designer to join our team. The Creative Studio is a multi-disciplinary team of creatives working across most marketing projects at Meraki– building our brand aesthetic through collateral, promotional materials, web, events, advertising, digital campaigns, and new product launches!

Your role as a Senior Meraki Brand Visual Designer is to bring our story to life through well-crafted visual narratives across all our channels and customer touchpoints. We are looking for someone with experience in storytelling, problem-solving, and who is detail-oriented, curious, and collaborative.You will play a key role in building and maintaining our international brand by creating visually compelling designs for a variety of mediums, including digital and print. You will be required to think strategically about your work and produce creative solutions that help our Marketing team achieve our goals with a thoughtful customer-centric design that is consistent with our core values.

Brand Visual Designers at Meraki should demonstrate a passion for great design and the ability to define and document their approach to build and scale a consistent visual language globally. This designer should have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate the rationale behind their work!

As a core member of our design team, You will:
  • Be an influential voice in the development and evolution of the Cisco Meraki brand
  • Work with a team of designers and marketers, collaborating to build designs that are both on-brand and on-strategy
  • Align external agencies with our brand and marketing goals, ensuring the brand's alignment and consistency
  • Strategize and craft high-profile marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams both inside and outside Marketing
  • Implement a localization process that ensures all designs are translated and adapted for different languages and cultures while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate on projects with content writers, videographers, web developers, agencies, partners, and vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years experience as a brand visual designer at a tech company, B2B company, marketing agency, or related experience
  • Have an online portfolio that showcases your work, clearly outlining your role and contribution to each project
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft suite, Adobe Creative Suite apps, and modern prototyping tools
  • A passion for meaningful design solutions, and expertise in design principles: color, typography, layout, and conceptual skills
  • The ability to think creatively and explore original ways to communicate complex concepts in a clear and illustrative way
  • Enjoy working independently and across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Meticulous, with scrupulous file management while collaborating with other team members
  • Experience working with external agencies

Compensation Range:
$101,800—$187,700 USD

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%.  Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
