Responsibilities:

• Design and implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using best practices such as unit testing, code coverage, static code analysis, security scanning

• Troubleshoot and debug build issues

• Integrate into package and image repositories such as Maven Central, GitHub Packages, Docker Hub, Helm Hub

• Work with engineering and QE teams to set the direction for multiple system build environments and streamline work globally

• Ensure the appropriate documentation and communication of processes, practices and troubleshooting techniques

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

• 3–5 years of experience in software build and release technologies within a Linux software development environment

• Scripting experience using Python & bash

• Experience with SCM/build tools including Git, Maven

• Experience with automation and optimization using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI tools

• Experience packaging software into RPM and Debian packages

• Experience creating and registering images using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm or Packer

• Experience with Deployment to Cloud Marketplaces, including image testing & hardening for:

• AWS AMIs and Quick Start (Cloudformation), highly desirable

• GCP VIrtual Machines and GCP Deployment Manager

• Azure VIrtual Machines

• Red Hat Containers 

• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
