Senior Business Analyst-1

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 9 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-Lead Business Systems Analyst

The Lead Business Systems Analyst approves that designed system solutions are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Working closely with senior leadership, this job manages large projects, processes and establishes operational plans.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides senior level consulting services to business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve IT and business management results.
• Develops and implements new processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
• Participates in defining and formulating senior leadership's IT strategy through the review of business objectives and value proposition.
• Advises senior leadership on future business direction and aligns IT with business priorities, strategies, and operating models.
• Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
• Recommends long-term improvements and changes to organization's IT systems to support future business direction and growth.
• Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.

Business Infrastructure Analyst

The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of the company's technical infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring that the company's technical infrastructure is designed and implemented to meet the company's business requirements. The Infrastructure Analyst works closely with the company's IT staff to ensure that the company's technical infrastructure is designed, implemented, and maintained to meet the company's business requirements. This role also works closely with the company's vendors to ensure that the company's technical infrastructure is designed, implemented, and maintained to meet the company's business requirements. Infrastructure or Data Platforms ( ETL, File Transfer, Messaging or Databases).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all infrastructure-related issues
• Monitor and maintain systems and services, ensuring optimal performance and availability
• Respond to incidents and service requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve systemic problems
• Develop and implement plans for system improvements and capacity expansion
• Manage user accounts and permissions, providing access to appropriate resources
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components
• Patch systems and applications according to best practices and company policy
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Write and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
• Train and support users on infrastructure-related topics
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 5+ years professional experience in IT infrastructure analysis or a related role
• Solid understanding of network protocols and architecture (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, etc.)
• Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, such as Nagios and SolarWinds

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• CCNA or other networking certification
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration

Base Pay Range: $73.57/hr. - $79.29/hr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
