We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York. In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement. This role is part of the Application Portfolio Management function within the Business Technology department. We strive to maintain a comprehensive inventory of our Real Estate Application Portfolio, promote alignment between business and technology, and drive innovation through the selection, development, and retirement of applications. Our focus is on delivering value to Brookfield by maintaining a balance between cost, risk, and functionality, and by continuously improving our processes and capabilities to support the changing needs of the organization.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize Brookfield's portfolio of applications to support the achievement of business goals
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and make recommendations to improve systems and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and track solutions
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support decision-making and project evaluations
  • Provide regular reporting and presentations on project status, results, and recommendations
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure project goals are aligned and achieved
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and recommend improvements
  • Proactively search out and suggest areas of innovation that will bring value to Brookfield

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with the software development life cycle
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Experience with commercial real estate systems like Yardi, VTS, and Argus Enterprise is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Exempt/Non-exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000

Medical & Pharmacy Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Dental Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Vision Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Retirement: 401(k)

Insurance: Employer-paid life & short/long term disability
