Senior Business Analyst

In our fast-paced environment this position will act as a liaison among internal stakeholders, program mangers consultants/vendors, and sponsors to analyze, document, communicate, and validate business and system requirements.

Document as well as manage detailed business requirements and technical specifications with the ability to translate those requirements into user stories.

• Facilitate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders which may include meetings, interviews, workshop facilitation and prototyping.
• Work developers to ensure user stories are implemented correctly.
• Work with development team to break down requirements to user stories/technical specifications and manage the requirement throughout the lifecycle of the of project.
• On an as needed basis- responsible for business relationship management and influencing business partner requests and decisions through strong negotiation skills and provide valued managerial expertise that support established standards (e.g., process, development, quality).
• Meeting management with program managers and multiple stakeholders providing immediate meeting minutes and action items.
• Research evaluate and understand internal business processes to ensure feasibility or compatibility with systems.
• Solve business problems and formulate technical solutions as needed.
• Participate in design, brainstorm whiteboarding session
• The ability to works independently with little direction.

Qualifications:

• HS/GED required; At least 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment required; Equivalent combination of education and background might be considered.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle including Agile development.
• Previous experience in writing user stories and documentations are required.
• Experience with SQL queries and understanding of data structures is preferred.
• Experience in prioritizing and tracking tasks, status updates, etc. (Partner with Project Management Team) required.
• Experience in working on multiple projects, partnering with multiple cross-functional teams required.
• Strong analysis, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Collaborative negotiation skills and conflict resolution.
• Ability to be a flexible business partner.
• Have an entrepreneur spirit- Take ownership.
• Strong listening skills, meeting manager Critical thinker.
