Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Agile product development and industry exposure relevant to client—such as institutional investing, asset management, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, or large financial services organizations.

The ideal candidate combines product thinking, stakeholder influence, and delivery discipline to define and deliver knowledge products and services that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Product Discovery & Requirements

  • Serve as the primary business analyst for one or more knowledge-product streams.
  • Lead discovery, requirements gathering, solution definition, and delivery cycles.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, user research, persona creation, and prototyping to validate problems and assumptions.
  • Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, roadmaps, and release plans.

Backlog & Delivery Management

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure continuous delivery of high quality product increments.

Process & Data Design

  • Design end-to-end processes and data flows that support:

o Knowledge capture

o Content curation

o Searchability

o Lifecycle management

  • Promote scalable information architecture, metadata standards, and taxonomy best practices.

Success Measurement & Reporting

  • Define measurable KPIs and success criteria (e.g., adoption, time to find, content quality).
  • Track and report progress to senior stakeholders through clear metrics and insights.

Stakeholder Management

  • Translate complex business concepts into:

o User journeys

o Process maps

o Functional and technical requirements

  • Facilitate cross functional alignment and manage dependencies.
  • Proactively mitigate risks, issues, and scope creep.

Enablement & Coaching

  • Coach team members and business stakeholders on:

o Agile practices

o Acceptance criteria writing

o Evidence-based product decision making

  • Promote consistent knowledge governance and data stewardship practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–10 years of experience in business analysis, product, or product facing roles.
  • Minimum 3 years operating within Agile teams.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end product development, from discovery through launch—ideally for knowledge, content, or data-driven products.
  • Background in industries such as:

o Institutional investing

o Asset management

o Pension funds

o Sovereign wealth funds

o Large financial institutions

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior technical and business audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with discovery techniques, requirement elaboration, and iterative delivery approaches.
