Job Description Summary
The Senior Business Analyst is a full-service technology resource for the GOS Analytics platform. The main focus of this position is to identify solutions, streamline processes, and assist with creating requirements to build out and enhance the analytics platforms. This position is expected to lead large, complex projects – including process mapping, exploring and articulating business problems and with solution architects turn these into technical solutions, author recommendations and present to stakeholders.

Solutioning - Document requirements and assist in analyzing and reviewing potential solutionsÂ

Project Delivery - Contribute as an active and positive member on project teams to deliver or exceed project outcomesÂ

Improvement & Innovation - Constantly look for ways to improve the way we work and the solutions we offer to our business and our clientsÂ

Data Analysis - Assist in scoping and mapping of various data migration efforts, identify data required to support business requirements, understand how data is impacted/influenced by business processes/operationsÂ

Conduct Workshops - Periodically conduct workshops related to process improvement, User Acceptance Testing and training sessionsÂ

Mentoring and training of junior team members – This position will have Business Analyst and contractor resources soft-line reportingÂ

DETAILED ACCOUNTABILITIESÂ

Work with various levels of the organization to capture project goals, objectives, and the associated requirements. Â

Provide implementation assistance for medium to highly complex enhancements, often containing multiple stakeholder groups or work streamsÂ
-
Identify project stakeholders and user groups. Engage with the stakeholders to identify subject matter experts and plan change management for project roll outÂ
-
Primary focus will be working on the development of data and dashboards, and a focus on business process standardization with the Team. You will work closely with cross functional team members to drive business strategy and process optimization, capture user requirements, and assist the development team in designing, testing, and implementing platform.Â

Collaborate with the team to assess the cross functional impacts of business decisions and provide input on processes and procedures affecting the business usersÂ

Partner with the user community, to identify their business requirements; analyze business processes; analyze source data; produce functional specifications, data flows and business rules; and assist with the implementation of those specificationsÂ

Help drive process improvements; leverage your knowledge of best practices to help our professional services organization utilize the platforms to maximize resultsÂ

Drive the initiation, planning, requirements, design, test and post-production phases of the solution development life cycleÂ
-
Develop, document and perform system, integration, and user acceptance testsÂ
-
Serve as point of contact for troubleshooting issues and coordinating with cross-functional teamsÂ
-
Coordinate technical assistance between Cushman & Wakefield & the application vendorÂ
-
Coordinate change management initiatives of upgrades and patches. Develop and implement testing plans, interfacing results with the vendor for a quality releaseÂ
-
Perform regular system monitoring to ensure data integrity and support internal and external operational auditsÂ
-
Write, maintain, and support a variety of queries and reports including ad hoc requestsÂ
-
Remain educated and up-to-date with current technologies, solutions, trends and risksÂ
-
Assist with mentoring and/or training of staffÂ

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Education and Previous Experience:Â
-
Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Industry Designation Â
-
7+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, Data & Analytics, and visualization software, preferably PowerBI
-
5+ years of IT work experienceÂ
-
5+ years of experience supporting application systemsÂ
-
Or similar combination of education and experienceÂ
