Clearance: Ability to obtain the required government security clearance (CBP Final). 

Dev Technology Group is recruiting for an experienced Senior Business Analyst. This team member will be responsible for collaborating with the customer and the Agile team members to analyze requirements to ensure client needs and expectations are met. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and in coordination with other team members and other intersecting teams, and be ready to dive in with any tasks needed to complete the work. This role will also include people care management, meeting with your direct reports to set their career goals and support them in accomplishing them.

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Talk to user communities, research issues, document solutions
• Create user stories and tasks in JIRA, and assist with administration of JIRA
• Interact with customers and end users regarding any aspect of the software, contributing workable solutions to issues that are timely and effective
• Create functional test plans and executing system testing
• Act as the lead communicator between the technical team and stakeholders to provide clear written and verbal communication
• As the team people care manager, contribute to the identification of solutions to ensure a successful team environment

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of work experience. The work experience should be in positions that required interaction with end users or customers of software, or related technical work
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
• Detail-oriented approach to business requirements documentation
• Experience learning new system functionality, becoming a system function expert
• Experience with data analysis, using SQL to pull data out of a database
• Ability to learn the basic underlying technologies of a system
• Excellent diplomacy and communication skills with both clients and technical staff
• Proactive approach to relationship building with business team members
• Ability to grasp cross functional application requirements, identify dependencies and facilitate program management
• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
• Ability to mentor and support other business analysts
• Demonstrated experience with Jira (or similar tool)
• Experience with agile development methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean practices
• Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges, and enjoys working alongside fellow team members to make that happen
• Experience and/or interest in becoming a people care manager 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification or training
• High level understanding of Database concepts, Program Management  & Data Visualization tools
• Analytical skills to understand functionalities of emerging database management technologies
