Senior Business Analyst - Payments Strategy

Position Overview:

In this role, you will play a critical part in driving strategic initiatives for the growth of Zenoti’s Fintech business. You will be part of the business team responsible for managing the payments charter in Zenoti. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Engineering and Marketing) to implement new payment features for Zenoti’s global customers and track the success of these features.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze payment data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key metrics and performance indicators.
2. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize payment processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. Implement process improvements and streamline workflows.
3. Financial Analysis: Support financial analysis activities, including revenue forecasting, expense tracking, and reconciliation.
4. Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of payment-related projects and initiatives.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including finance, product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
6. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Qualifications:

1. Academically trained in preferably a quantitative field including Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or any technical major. MBA from Tier 1 college preferred.
2. 2+ years of experience in consulting, analytics, Finance, or other business-related functions.
3. Professional experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and proficiency in quantitative analysis geared towards drawing actionable insights from complex datasets.
4. Understanding of or exposure to the payments domain is good to have.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
7. Strong desire to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
