Job Description
The Analytical Solutions Division (ASD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Business and Financial Operations Manager working onsite at a location in Arlington, VA. The potential candidate will provide expertise to support all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution activities, supporting of Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). This support includes interaction with the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Comptroller, Washington Headquarters Services, and OUSD(A&S) components.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide programmatic, business, financial, and policy assessments to the Director, Business Operations (DBO)
- Maintain and update DBO-related funding profiles in official DoD financial databases including the Defense Agencies Initiative and the Comptroller Budget Extensible Markup Language database
- Prepare overview briefings for presentation to congressional staff members and other senior government officials
- Review current congressional language and budget marks, and assisting in preparing reports regarding each OUSD(A&S)-related mission areas
- Prepare background material, attend, and record minutes for scheduled meetings
- Process documents, data, and reports as needed to support OUSD(A&S) / DBO requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related (accounting / financial management) experience is required
- Demonstrated leadership experience in Department of Defense, especially Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution
- Applicant must hold an active Top-Secret security clearance and be eligible to access Sensitive Compartmentalized Information to apply for this position
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen

- A Master's degree with at least 7 years' experience is a suitable substitute
