Jirav connects your operational and financial data to analyze your historical performance and help build future forecasts across Bookings, Revenues, Workforce, Expenses and Cash Flow. In Jirav, anyone can run scenarios on the fly, build sales targets, set quotas, plan their workforce, analyze financial variances, and keep a pulse of their business with live dashboards for SaaS metrics/KPIs, financial targets and personnel.

Jirav is building a modern, cloud-based product to make complex financial forecasting and modeling easy. We enable small and medium businesses to truly understand their performance and forecast where they are going. Our company is young, hungry, and we intend to disrupt traditional players in the space. We are getting great early traction with thousands of businesses on our platform. This is a great chance for you to get in early and grow with the company.

We are hiring for a the position of Senior Business Development Representative (Sr. BDR). The Sr. BDR will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients. This position will be responsible for qualifying prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy then leveraging this information to align and sell Jirav's product offerings. This position spends roughly 80% of the time on the phone/teleconference prospecting new clients. BDRs receive hands on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This position is a great way for individuals to gain in depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.

About the Job:

The Sr. BDR will employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Jirav as a viable alternative to Excel and legacy forecasting and budgeting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Make cold, outbound outreach to potential new customers
  • Make outbound calls & emails to prospects who are deemed to reside in one of Jirav core vertical markets
  • Share information about Jirav and ask questions about the prospect's business intentions
  • Discern propensity to buy and forward good potential leads to the Sales Account Executives to pursue
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
  • Learn the Jirav platform and be able to demo capabilities
  • Record prospect information in CRM database


Requirements

  • A university degree or relevant tertiary qualification
  • 2-4 years outbound sales experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Finance and accounting background
  • Prior experience in the SaaS industry
  • A driven, enthusiastic and hard-working nature
  • The ability to form strong business relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Logistics:

Must be legally able to work in the US at time of hiring
