Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Description
Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning, the Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role by providing insights and analysis to inform commercial decision making. As a key member of the global marketing team, the analyst will assess and communicate market opportunity, procedural trends, global dynamics, and financial assessments.
The role requires a problem-solver mentality, strong analytical skills, and an ability to communicate and simplify complex data sets. The analyst will translate analytical methodologies into business insights and visual aids for leadership.
This role requires extensive knowledge of analytic tools and experience mining large data sets for insights. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using excel, Power BI, and other internal financial reporting platforms.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the Global Orthopedics (Joint Reconstruction, Trauma & Extremities) franchise, and will require frequent interaction and communication with people at all levels and regions of the business.
Travel: Approximately 0-5%
Licenses/Certifications: Certificate in Business Analytics/Business Intelligence a plus

Competencies:
- Strong data visualization, reporting, dash-boarding skills
- Strong analytical skills, managing large datasets
- Knowledge of healthcare data sources & vendors preferred
- Project management skills required, including how to interpret a business need and translate it into creative technical solutions.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
- Strong sense of customer service for internal customers.
- Advanced skills in Excel (w/VBA coding), Power BI, Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal - particularly with Investor and Executive audiences.
