About the Role

The Customer Intelligence team at SecurityScorecard Inc. team plays a crucial role in accelerating the business and guiding strategic decisions through data insights. Building effective reporting resources, crafting effective intelligent benchmarks, understanding performance, caring about data quality, enabling automation and creating phenomenal visualizations are things that drive you.

We are looking for a business analyst that is passionate about analytics and converting data driven insights into actionable value-driven results to support our Customer Success and Professional Services teams.

About You

You are an experienced analyst with a proven ability to draw conclusions from large data sets and communicate their findings to appropriate stakeholders. You are passionate about data, and have experience addressing key business questions by using technical skills. You have an inquisitive mindset, with proven problem-solving ability, and a passion for big data. 

How You’ll Contribute

• Collaborate with other analysts, and work cross-functionally with revenue, customer success, marketing and finance to support growth initiatives and internal analytics.
• Partner with Customer Success and Professional Services teams to develop and track business critical KPIs, deliver insight on performance and trends, and develop resources to drive and own insight delivery.
• Build data visualizations (Tableau) and dashboards  that define and deliver insight into key initiatives and operational goals.
• Proactively identify  improvements to existing reporting and dashboarding infrastructure to accurately represent the current company goals.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on business KPIs, working cross-functionally to construct reports and analysis to help beat and raise benchmarks.
• Perform correlative and quantitative analysis across multiple large data sets to identify trends and help connect customers to revenue.
• Improve BI platform tools and assist data warehousing efforts to improve visibility and accessibility into critical data assets.
• Review existing reporting assets and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and user experience. 
• Assess business needs and provide directional recommendations to senior leadership.
• Publish content to support all levels of the business, from senior leadership to individual contributors. 
• Assist BI Manager with Tableau Online Server development, user management, and internal resource documentation to drive BI software adoption.

What we need you to have:

• 6+ years of experience working in an analytical role and 2+ years of experience working in business intelligence.
• A bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Intermediate understanding of SaaS metrics, KPIs, and go-to-market sales strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).
• Experience performing regression testing and quantitative analysis on large data sets. 
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a diverse audience, including senior executives, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.
• Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers.
• Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc. This role will have the opportunity to develop content in Tableau, and work on optimizing the data models supporting the platform.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft and Google suite products.

What we’d love you to have:

• Experience working with Snowflake or similar Postgres SQL Data warehouses
• Tableau Admin Certification
• Working knowledge of Python or R
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience
• Working knowledge of revenue organization KPIs and terms
