The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Client Analyst is the BI team's principal support role and serves as a representative to specific internal or external facing team(s), as the assigned Business Intelligence liaison. This individual creates and leverages various reports and analyses to develop viable, relevant and actionable insights on trends and patterns found within the data to better articulate Quantum Health's value proposition.

What you'll do
  • Provide expertise and consultative support to internal and external stakeholders, particularly our external customers and Client Executive Team (Success Team).
  • Create ad hoc and enhanced analytics for stakeholders and advise fellow Healthcare Analysts on best practice for insights development and research.
  • Utilize various approaches and technologies to gather and prepare data including query development (SQL Server, Snowflake) and using BI platforms like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, SSRS, etc.
  • Perform data analysis and design reports, dashboards and visualizations.
  • Provide detailed reporting to the Client Executive and external parties, granting them knowledge to make strategic decisions impacting their future design.
  • Serve as a resource for operational work groups by providing data, information and reports; act as a SME for the business, both internal and external customers.
  • Serve as the "go-to" resource for the Client Reporting team to review and validate project/analysis results.
  • Interpret myriad data points and healthcare/ clinical effectiveness metrics, identify insights gaps and recommend interventions or solutions to support Client Executives and our clients.
  • Support, evaluate, and continuously improve report creation processes to maintain alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate and provide data explanations during plan performance discussions with clients, consultants, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and Third Party Administrators (TPAs).
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, data analysis/analytics, business intelligence, statistics, finance or related field required; Graduate degree and/or professional certifications preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience working in the employer benefits and/or healthcare analytics field.
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data into usable, actionable information with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with business intelligence exploratory or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Birst) is required; Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python) is preferred.
  • Ability to write and read T-SQL scripts and understand database model diagrams.
  • Experience thinking strategically, structurally solving product problems, and driving execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable translating technical information to non-technical audiences at all levels of the business.
  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
  • Trustworthy and accountable behavior, capable of viewing and maintaining confidential information daily.
