Why you should join our Business Operations team:
You will be tackling some of our most challenging and important issues that At-Bay faces. As At-Bay accelerates its growth and enters new verticals, this team helps our leaders hone in on the levers for this growth and how to unlock them, all while building a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
You’ll be working among a fast-paced, well-connected team whose members bring diverse professional and personal backgrounds. As part of a central team, you’ll also see the high-level synthesis of strategy and business objectives, while being able to zoom in on the details when they matter. This is a highly collaborative and adaptive model, where no two projects or problems are alike.

You will be responsible for working with our leaders to identify high-impact areas of improvement, then driving the analysis, solution design, and overseeing implementation of those projects. Your work will help At-Bay unblock the most important issues that impact our speed and quality and growth, while empowering our teams across go-to-market, product, security, and others to operate more impactfully. You’ll also be building up a portfolio of relationships and expertise that will enable you to partner with other teams on their most important priorities.Â
How you’ll make an impact:Â
By 3 months…
- You’ll understand our business – how our products, services, distribution, technology stack, and partners serve our customers through insurance and security
- You’ll have created relationships with key cross-functional partners
- You’ll develop autonomy and familiarity navigating our data stack and analytics to generate important insights that change how we work
- You’ll be leading a high-visibility, cross-functional project with a short timeline to impact, focusing on our go-to-market efficiency and collaboration across teams
By 6 months...
- You’ll identify issues, build hypotheses, and analyze data to generate insights and recommendations to our leadership and various teams across the business
- You’ll regularly partner with our go-to-market, technology, insurance, security services, and other teams to improve our products and processesÂ
- You’ll develop scalable processes that solve gaps in how we operate
- You’ll work with our analytics and business intelligence teams to inform improvements to our our tooling, reporting, and dashboards
- You’ll support processes in planning, strategy, and other special projects
What you’ve accomplished already:
- Led projects end-to-end in business operations, business analytics, business intelligence, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or other heavily analytical roles. Previous insurance experience not required but is a plus
- Worked across teams to think through problems and solutions in various contexts (e.g., go-to-market, finance, product, marketing)
- Engaged all levels of stakeholders (frontline to senior executive) in presentation, problem-solving
- Developed a strong analytical, problem-solving approach and excitement to take on new challenges in different domains regularly
- Deployed experience with Excel and SQL to find insights autonomously and collaborating with other teams. Tableau and Snowflake experience is also good-to-have
Pay transparency paragraph: Our estimated base pay range for this role is $130K-$150K per year. Base salary is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to market data, location, internal equitability, domain knowledge, experiences and skills. In general, if the position sparks your interest we encourage you to apply - our team prioritizes talent.
