Provide descriptive and predictive actionable data insights to the supply chain and finance partners via frictionless analytics and tools that enable a market-leading mission-critical supply chain ecosystem.

Your Opportunity

Sitting in the Supply Chain business organization as the Senior Data Analyst for our Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Video Security & Access (VSA), you will be the Global Analytics Partner and will have a tight partnership with the Business & IT organizations. For executives, you will deliver intuitive communication that provides simple insights into complex problems. This must be suitable for executive consumption where time and crispness of messaging are of the essence.

Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst is accountable for designing, and delivering key analytics to run the business and forecast the core KPIs - revenue, cost, cash and customer delivery. This role, though highly technical, is within the business organization. This role has the opportunity to shape the analytics of supply chain and procurement business functions. The organization is predominantly at a descriptive analytics stage that uses Tableau to visualize and analyze the historic data stored in the Amazon Cloud Enterprise Data Hub. That provides huge opportunities to bring the organization to the predictive analytics stage by creating a vision as well as a roadmap to get there. This role also involves close collaboration with the business operations leaders and peers to deliver on breakthrough ideas across the analytics organization.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

• Partner with the Supply Chain and Finance business operation leaders to determine opportunities where data can drive revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and customer value.

• Develop an analytics data center of excellence that brings passion and excellence to our work product.

• Ability to create a culture of innovation, speed, and agility and bring breakthrough ideas to our business partners.

• Create and maintain strategic data/analytics roadmaps that are aligned to the Organization's revenue, cost, cash, and customer goals. 

• Strategically look for ways to improve leverage and drive value out of analytics investments.

• Drive initiatives to improve data analytics, and move the organization to advanced analytics including AI machine learning, and predictive analytics.

• Life-time student, constantly learning about emerging technologies to bring innovative thinking into what we do and how we do it.

• Foster the Agile DevOps culture to improve customer satisfaction through rapid, continuous delivery.

• Inspire team members to learn new skills and develop competencies aligned with the Analytics team’s vision.

• Comfortable working with executives and stakeholders of all levels

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant Business, Technology, or Engineering specialty.

• 4+ years of Data analytics experience
