Senior Business Operations Manager - Utility
Job Description
The Senior Business Operations Manager – Utility is a project manager for initiatives in support of Bungie’s 10-year vision, strategy, annual planning, and rhythm of the business. The Utility BOM will flow to high priority initiatives and efforts across Bungie, creating and executing process, rituals, and project management support to teams across Games & IP, Craft & Development, and General & Administrative. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Utility BOM also establishes and maintains efficient lines of communication across the business operations function while working with other business operations managers.

They are skilled at quickly building relationships with new teams and getting situational awareness, excellent at prioritization, and motivated to bring structure to ambiguity and chaos. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive execution of projects and limited duration strategic initiatives in support of Bungie’s annual operating plan, strategy, and vision, including through change management
- Ensure successful, on-time execution of specific ‘rhythm of the business’ rituals (strategic and annual planning, quarterly review, budgeting, etc.) on an annual basis, as delegated by Chief of Staff
- Support the Bungie Leadership Team, as delegated by Chief of Staff
- Drive ongoing meetings and processes, as delegated by Chief of Staff
- Maintain the database of projects being managed – initiatives, tasks, action items, etc.
- Facilitate and support executive communication, reporting, presentations, meetings, and off-sites for projects being managed.
- Seek out dysfunction and misalignment on critical business topics and brings appropriate individuals together to resolve them.
- Actively challenge the status quo and facilitate change towards continuous improvement.
- Apply appropriate change management strategies and plans to achieve transformational success.
- Reports to Chief of Staff
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Outstanding project management skills: building and maintaining work backlogs; tracking, scheduling, and driving projects to on-time completion.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Ability to deliver executive presentations and broad-scale communications.
- Experience with business operations process, including strategic planning, goal setting, and initiative construction.
- Experience supporting financial planning and budgeting processes in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated experience in rapidly learning new methods and processes and adapting them to critical business needs.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to drive high-value meetings through challenging discussions and build clear action items and accountability.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience with Jira, Asana, or other similar project management tools
- Experience in the gaming industry
- Experience working with leadership teams.
- Experience crafting communications to individuals at all levels, from executive team to whole company.

- 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
- 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
