As a member of the IT business value team, the Business Relationship manager will proactively engage with all levels of leadership within the iHeartMedia organization, with a goal of understanding their business needs, cohesively documenting requirements and facilitating and implementing system, product, and process improvement recommendations. This critical customer facing role assesses technical solutions, communicates needs, objectives and capabilities of each and supports the evaluation and prioritization of the new demand in the IT pipeline. Incumbent will fully project manage approved initiatives, work closely with and communicate effectively to cross-functional entities, and is accountable for bringing projects/recommendations to fruition.

As the Business Relationship Manager, you will:
  • Understand business strategy and objectives as well as products and/or services offered
  • Act as an advocate for our business stakeholders and users to Technology
  • Partner with all areas of the business to identify opportunities, business processes, functions and procedures that can be enhanced, streamlined or eliminated
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather, document and review requirements and proposed solutions, including impact assessment, gap analysis, project costs, and associated ROI and KPIs
  • Document as-is business and system processes and work with business leaders to develop improved & streamlined solutions (product, process, organizational) to complex business challenges
  • Demonstrate superior facilitation and communication skills; capable of interfacing effectively with multiple levels of management across iHeartMedia business units
  • Facilitate creative and engaging communications, delivering clear, concise information to our partners, customers, vendors and technical team via a variety of formats
  • Develop product strategy based on research and data which supports business need and delivers positive benefits to both our user base and customers
  • Research, prepare, maintain, and evangelize the feature roadmap which defines product enhancements for short- and long-term releases
  • Specify requirements for current and future products by conducting internal and external research using multiple channels (i.e. customers, users, agency contacts)
  • Lead requirements gathering/needs assessment sessions to evaluate and document existing business processes and future business needs
  • Lead, evaluate and fully manage alternative implementation solutions, including buy versus build, and cloud-based SaaS offerings
  • Create and manage large and simultaneous project plans; ability to decompose projects into manageable tasks, balancing scope, time, cost, quality, and resources while maintaining implementation goals
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with clear agendas, action items, and outcomes
  • Proactively identify, circumvent, avoid and or resolve issues and problems that create adverse impact on projects
  • Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Thrive and quickly execute in an environment of rapid change, minimal structure, and high expectations


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Technology, with at least 5 years' experience working in a fast-paced, high-change, corporate environment
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product management, writing detailed requirements of user needs, business impacts, and system functionality for software development. All work which is actionable, definable, relevant, measurable, and testable
  • Previous experience in professional services organization with focus on business case development, strategy, cost analysis, ROI, and data analysis
  • Education and/or experience in the areas of communications, media, accounting, analytics and project management will be seen as a plus
  • Strong strategic aptitude; Proven ability to successfully create, manage and innovative user-friendly enterprise level products and applications
  • Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Teams, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now
  • Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and quantitative skills are a must, including the ability to leverage data in decision making
  • Highly focused and self-motivated
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Ability to effectively solve problems, make decisions and take action, exercising solid independent judgment
  • Ability to quickly develop new approaches to complex problems and convey ideas in a tangible form
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in cloud software applications (Salesforce.com/CRM systems, Basecamp, Google Docs, Harvest)
  • Experience with MS Project Server/Project Online is highly desirable
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration with diverse groups of people with an ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
  • Uncompromising standards of quality in building and delivering solutions
