About the department
Cloudflare is looking for a Senior Business System Analyst (Salesforce CPQ Specialist) to join our fast growing GTM Applications team. In this role, you will work closely with our Business stakeholders in Sales,Pricing,Packaging & Finance to deliver a world class Configure,Price & quote management experience for our internal users. This role works closely with other Business SMEs, Developers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle and also demonstrates both existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders.
Based on a deep understanding of the business, best practices in Salesforce CPQ you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing our Salesforce CPQ processes and configuration.
What you'll do

• Design, prototype, build, document, and support solutions for the Salesforce CPQ application. Collaborating with business partners to help shape functional requirements of the CPQ
• Hands on experience to create and manage Price Rules, Product Rules, Discounting, Product Setup and Configuration, Product Options, Quote Templates, and Advanced Approval Rules with ability to design for complex business use cases
• Administrator of Salesforce CPQ declarative configuration,settings,configurations to onboard new products/bundles/SKU and ownership of NPI in Salesforce CPQ
• Make recommendations for improvements to systems and processes to make processes and workflows more efficient and automated
• Demonstrate leadership and technical expertise by presenting custom solutions based on the Salesforce platform and ecosystem
• Performing hands-on technical design, solution architecture, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and CPQ configuration tasks
• Work closely with business partners in the Sales Ops and Commissions teams to define requirements and ensure that solutions deliver best-in-class results and efficient business processes
• Manage Sales technology projects and related CPQ impacts: developing requirements, designing functional solutions and prototypes, & testing. Ensure projects are completed with agreed upon scope, on time, within budget
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation based on design specifications.
• Own functional tasks and deliverables, including: testing, training, reporting, support, and continuous improvement for the Salesforce CPQ application
• Use and recommend best practices while delivering scalable high quality solutions

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• Bachelor's degree (technical degree preferred)
• 7+ years of experience implementing, configuring and administering SaaS business systems for a software company, with at least 2 years of Salesforce CPQ experience(Steelbrick)
• Proficient in the use of Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench and Excel to support data analysis & quality initiatives
• Outstanding testing skills with ability to identify & execute appropriate depth of testing, including negative tests and integrated test scenarios
• Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hard working, and a great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including experience meeting with and presenting information to senior leadership
• Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist)
• Passion for creating a frictionless end user experience
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce.com platform, ecosystem and best-practices

Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $140,000- $171,000.

This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
