Senior Business Systems Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Enterprise Technologies Finance IT team, part of the broader CIO organization, is looking for a proactive and collaborative self-starter to support the team’s mission to establish a best-in-class Finance solution by supporting our existing NetSuite ERP implementation. This will be achieved through developing a deep understanding of financial processes and configuring NetSuite to support our evolving business models. You will interact with multiple team members across the organization and will be instrumental in furthering the team’s mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of an evolving business systems team in a high-growth global organization. You will have the opportunity to design, build and implement standard methodology financial processes.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Develop new solutions for NetSuite to support our evolving business model
- Support end-to-end solutioning: design, develop, test, and deploy NetSuite functionality and enhancements to meet Finance needs
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation on new features, enhancements, configuration, and customizations
- Support the finance team by actively identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver solutions that create efficiencies and add new value
- In alignment with SOX, ensure procedures, processes and proper change controls are adhered to on all production changes and implementations
- Monitor the system and identify critical issues with the existing solutions and proactively design and fix the as-built solutions
- Run root-functional root cause analysis where issues are noted and be the enterprise systems champion for prioritization and remediation
- Where remediation has been planned, lead the following: Documentation and analysis of current business processes, including the underlying systems/applications
- Gathering and documentation of business requirements in collaboration with collaborators
- Translation of business requirements into functional specifications
- Supporting multi-functional teams with solution design.
- Work closely with cross domain IT teams and business partners efforts to develop and test any cross team solutions
- Understand and document business requirements; analyze existing and/or new information and applications; propose potential solutions; and implement selected technology solutions
- Use reporting tools to analyze financial reporting
- Facilitate consistent adoption of best practices, policies, and standards.
- Develop strong working relationships with your Enterprise Technologies and finance peers as well as across the wider Peloton teams
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical peers and business users
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Lead process design sessions with Business teams.
- Ability to lead projects with a multi-functional team, external resource management, teamwork, commitment management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Deep analytical and critical thinking skills
- Adept and proactive at problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure; manage tight deadlines and situations where conflicting priorities arise
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance (Accounting Policies / Procedures).
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in NetSuite ERP (NetSuite Certified) with knowledge of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report processes
- Multiple full-lifecycle implementations
- Proficient in Excel
- Preferred: Advanced degree in Information Technology, Accounting / Finance, CPA or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Retail experience
- Preferred: Agile (SCRUM) experience
- Preferred: Software development in a programming language
Base Salary: $138,800.00 - $180,400.00Â Â
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NY - based position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.Â
