Senior Business Systems Analyst (Hybrid)

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will help us holistically and strategically build tour generation programs that drive VOI volume and result in higher customer conversion and retention. The Sr. Analyst will work closely with internal partners to understand business needs, develop integrated reports, maintain Sales & Marketing programs, and support growth strategies. The role requires constant curiosity, always looking for new ways that get people to travel and experience a Wyndham Destination Tour. Work functions can include, but not be limited to:
- Identify, integrate and drive new marketing programs
- Develop integrated package and premium offers
- Ensure all channels are considered and evaluated when rolling out new programs
- Assist in developing and implementing cross-functional processes and procedures
- Ensure package build contains consistent business rules that support ongoing and future reporting and analytics needs
- Integrate key areas of the organization in package/premium creation
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate and timely proposals to key partners (i.e., Legal)
- Act as integration partner with Legal, Call Center, Digital, and Sites to ensure offers meet Wyndham Destinations quality standards
- Measure what we do
- Create and maintain reports to understand and optimize Wyndham Destinations Tours
- Partner with internal stakeholders on end-to-end testing of all new/modified products
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyze and map business and technical processes/requirements:
- Create and maintain reports to understand the sales and marketing product initiatives created by the team (i.e., Packages/premium utilization, owner awards) to help optimize the business.
- Partner with leaders and other stakeholders on end-to-end testing of all new/modified products (i.e., packages, premiums). Ensure data flows properly through the various back of house systems.
- Trace the requirements from the discovery cycle through the implementation to ensure that the timeline is managed.
Gather, define, and document business requirements to solve business needs:
- Translate Marketing and Sales' requests into system terminology for implementation and problem resolution.
- Develop, execute, and implement sales and marketing product initiatives, including setup and maintenance within our platforms. This includes but is not limited to product packages, owner awards, and premiums offered at a single or multiple channels.
- Help find efficiencies and improvements to the business processes to drive the desired value-added results.
Obtain approvals from legal and other partners for all new and/or modified sales & marketing initiatives (i.e., premiums, packages, collateral) before deployment.
Special Projects: Performs other duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business, Data Analysis, Marketing, or similar discipline or relevant work experience
- Preferred: Master's degree with concentration in Business, Data Analysis, Marketing, or similar discipline
Knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based, insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving, reporting, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated strong Microsoft Office and reporting software proficiency (i.e., Excel, Access, Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to partner with others and deal effectively with multiple projects and changing priorities
- Demonstrated strong ability to work cross-functionally and autonomously to implement projects with limited supervision
- Demonstrated strong time management skills, team contributor, and detail oriented
Technical Skills
- Required: Strong PC Skills (MS Office)
- Preferred: Experience in Salesforce
Job experience
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
