The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst this role will design, build, test and maintain enablers of business processes, including technology and process solutions with a focus on medium to high complexity, multiple large application business processes and/or business relationships. This role will work on our homegrown contracting and credentialing system, Mercury as well as help build streamlined processes to include automated report sending. You will also work with other departments on moving provider data to downstream systems.

Position Purpose:

Collaborates with the business and technology stakeholders to translate high-level business requirements into functional and non-functional technical requirements that will be used by the design and development teams to build the technical solutions that fulfills the business needs.

Contribute to the entire implementation process.

Drive definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.

Responsible for overall solution design, requirements gathering, build and test, root cause analysis, and advanced performance tuning complex business processes and functionality.

Additionally you will bring:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).

Requires 6+ years of business systems or business analysis experience.

Technical Skills:

Experience with Data Processing and Data Warehousing required

Experience with SQL Server, VBA, Excel, and Jira required

Knowledge of Other: health care payer business functions and operations. required

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Scaled Agile (SAFe) Software Development; Software Development Life Cycle required

US Citizenship required to enable NACLC clearance.

CFLBA or CBAP or other Business Analysis related certifications preferred.
