Senior Business Systems Manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a strong consultative partner to HR functional leaders and business users to continuously improve service delivery
- Review and analyze business requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions using Workday HCM, Workday Help, Document Management, Compensation Management, Performance Management, Workday Talent Management, Workday Time & Absence Management and Cornerstone On-Demand Learning Management systems
- Deliver precise functional specifications to include functional hierarchy, workflow, business rules, interface design and definitions, outstanding issues, data analysis, and data mapping to business partners and 3rd party vendors
- Work with technical team to develop high level labor estimates to develop and deploy functionalities of selected solutions
- Work closely with the Rewards and Compensation teams in the design and realization of Juul compensation models, salary structures, and bonus plans using Workday Advanced Compensation
- Build, deploy and support annual bonus, stock grant processes, and merit review cycles and ad-hoc compensation review through EIBs
- Oversee, optimize, and support the ongoing design, configuration, deployment, Business Processes in Workday
- Build and manage integration using Calculated Fields, EIB, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, Workday Connector, XML, XSLT and Web Services technologies to implement complex integration to send the data to downstream
- Develop solution using custom reports, calculated fields, custom integration document delivery, business process configuration, Workday Studio
- Conduct fit/gap analysis between HR/LMS applications and business requirements and collaborate with Architects and Developers to estimate project impact
- Work with business partners to demonstrate the changes to the system to ensure all relevant business needs are addressed
- Work with COE to design processes, create learning objects and test workflows, email notifications and user groups and permissions etc. if needed
- Work with instructors, vendor, and implementation partner to support the upkeep and execution of our training content and managing our division-wide learning management system (LMS) on a daily basis
- Investigate, analyze, and solve Enterprise Application problems (including sub systems) and map business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy business needs
- Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
- Perform functional unit testing and system integration testing of the solution
- Change request handling, requiring the development of new or improved procedures using Enterprise tools and customizing in industry best practices
- Work closely with Vendor product management team to ensure that the gaps are addressed and aligned for future release
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in implementing & supporting HRIS using HCM ERP solutions
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing/supporting Workday HCM, Workday Advanced Compensation, Workday Talent Management, Workday Absence Management, Workday Time tracking
- Experience in conducting workshops, writing Detailed Design documents, Functional Specifications, and configuring Workday HCM & Cornerstone OnDemand
- Deep domain knowledge in HR Functions (Benefits, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Advanced Compensation, Time & Labor)
- Experience implementing solutions using Cornerstone OnDemand Learning Management system a plus
- Experience implementing processes using Cornerstone and/or Workday for a business governed by FDA to deliver regulatory training and increase transparency by addressing 21CFRPart11 compliance preferred
- Experience in writing functional specs for integrating HR Systems with other enterprise applications or 3rd party systems.
- Ability to understand and represent the needs of the end user in a software development environment
- Strong consultative and advisory skills
- Strong MS Visio and Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, testing and project management skills
- Data Analytics experience
- Expert skills of Excel spreadsheet modeling, macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc. and basic understanding in SQL
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow through, and use critical thinking to achieve success
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or in related field

Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
