Summary
 Processes major requests for proposals (RFPs) that are large and complex in nature through the most cost effective means. Develops new opportunities and partnerships for the company.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepares, distributes, receives, analyzes and awards bids using a formal bid process such as Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Bids (RFBs) that are large and complex.
- Works with subsidiaries on submitting SADBUS completing and submitting reporting.
- Manages development of business opportunities and restructures existing supplier partnerships to maximize value and secure cost savings while maximizing profit for the company.
- Interacts with company staff and management to build relationships to increase company participation in corporate contracts.
- Reports workloads and writes procedures to support workflow.
- Work Environment: Typical office environment. Occasional travel.
To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience
- 4 Years Purchasing, finance, and/or budget management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical or critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar skills.
- Good judgment skills.
- Basic business math proficiency skills.
- Microsoft Office.
We Prefer That You Have:
- Bachelor's degree-Business Administration or Bachelor's may also be in finance.
- 6 Years-Purchasing and finance or budget management experience.
- Knowledge of mathematical or statistical concepts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or other database software.
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) OR the ability to obtain within 1 year.
