Senior C# Developer

3Red Partners LLC, a proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, is seeking a Senior Front End C# Developer.  3Red Partners is committed to leveraging technology and math to implement competitive trading strategies. The Senior C# Developer will have the opportunity to work in one of our offices architecting, refactoring and developing the future internal trading interface for the company. We are seeking a candidate that is searching for an opportunity to make a real impact, deliver value, and work with an experienced team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, refactor and implement the core GUI functionality using C# and various microservices
• Develop server side logic and services to drive high performance trading interfaces
• Work directly with traders and developers to identify usage patterns, key deployment characteristics, automation opportunities
  • Fast development cycle, with the expectation of multiple iterations in designing the visualization of data and features.
  • Understanding of lockless system design.
  • Experience having architected and built at least one high throughput (multiple market data sources) GUI system.
• Identify methods to meet rigorous application performance requirements

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree with more than 3 years of experience with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a similar field
• Expert coding in C# with strong Python experience with some knowledge of C++ a plus. 

• Exposure to Mosquitto/Redis and other messaging relating protocols and processes.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at one time
• Experience with V8 and websockets are a plus
