Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Gotion high voltage battery pack design team is looking for a Sr. CAD Designer who will work on CAD design activities and make sure the design follows design rules and GD&T standard. This position requires extensive experience in CATIA and to work with design responsible engineers to draw the whole battery pack. 

Required Qualifications:

• Expertise in 3D modeling and creating 2D drawings in Catia V5 or V6 (Prefer)
• Ability to develop concept to 3D CAD model
• 5 Years in a design/drafting experience in various areas such as electrical components, wires, as well as mechanical parts
• Practical knowledge and use of GD&T, ASME Y14.5M-1994 dimensioning and tolerances
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Good communication skills
• Work closely design engineers

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HV battery design experience
• Experience in Steel stamping and Aluminum extrusion
• Experience in BIW design experience
• 7+ years experience in 2D/3D CAD design

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $70,000 and $130,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
