How Will You Make an Impact?:

The Senior Calibration Technician supports all instruments and utilities to ensure proper measurement accuracy while adhering to applicable industry standards and regulations. As a key member of the Engineering and Maintenance team, you will also perform scheduled and unscheduled calibrations on manufacturing equipment using prescribed standard operating procedures.

A Day in the Life:

  • Perform routine calibration and repairs to instrument systems (pressure gauges, conductivity meters, environmental monitoring systems, differential pressure transmitters) and components of production equipment, central utilities and building management systems to specified tolerances.
  • Be a problem solver and perform repairs to instrumentation to maintain production equipment and utilities and return equipment to normal operation.
  • Maintain detailed records of calibration activities and ensure all documentation meets quality and manufacturing requirements.

Education:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Technical/Trade School training or Associate Degree in a technical field.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of calibration work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Great teammate who can complete tasks safely, accurately, and timely and help others as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle scientific problems.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Work on equipment while bending, kneeling, sitting, and/or standing.
  • Wear PPE required in designated areas.
